2020 Theme: Early Childhood Development
Shortly before the wide-spread of the novel coronavirus, we hosted our very first Building Brains Conference.
The two-day bilingual (English and Kiswahili) event brought together diverse stakeholders in Early Childhood Development on March 6-7, 2020 at Serena Hotel in Dar es Salaam to join forces and kickstart a new movement for early learning in Tanzania and across Africa. The platform allowed for parents, teachers, innovators, development organizations and kids to share learnings and insights on best practices around early learning support.

Inspirational talks and panel discussions from experts, teachers and parents,

Curated interactive workshops to support caregivers and parents engage with their kids at home,

Experiential Learning stations that showcased different innovations and resources available to support learning,

Kids’ Corner with full-days agenda for all the wonderful kids that attended the conference along with their parents.
