I write to you with excitement and a childlike sense of possibility, as we move into a new decade and set our sights on even bigger goals for Ubongo.
With a goal of reaching 15 million kids, the Tanzanian prodco is prepping content to export around the world, while also addressing the region’s education crisis.
According to GSMA’s 2019 Mobile Economy Report, there are over 456 million unique mobile subscribers in sub-Saharan Africa, and this number will grow to 623 million by 2025.
In five minute-pitches, four Next Billion EdTech prize semi-finalists have to convince the judges that they are worthy of a place amongst the six Next Billion EdTech Prize 2019 finalists, pitching on the main conference stage during the plenary session, on Sunday 24th March.
