The Jacobs Foundation Board recognizes Ubongo for their exceptional efforts to provide quality edutainment with localized educational cartoons to children in Africa, and especially for their response to COVID-19 related challenges.
This year has been a challenging year for all of us. And while 2020 has brought us great uncertainty, it has also opened opportunities for community, solidarity, and innovation.
Ubongo, meaning “brain” in Kiswahili, came to life in 2013 with the aim to help kids in Africa to learn, and leverage their learning to change their lives.
Africa’s leading creator and producer of children’s educational media, Ubongo, is delighted to announce the launch of Season 1 of Akili and Me in Kinyarwanda on PACIS TV and YouTube.
