We would like to thank the Human Development Innovation Fund, funded by UKAid, without whom the development and growth of Akili and Me would not have been possible. It’s been an honour and a privilege to work together these past 5 years to innovate something truly special from Tanzania and grow it to a household name here and across Africa. We are incredibly proud of the work we’ve done together and the impact that this has had for children in Tanzania and beyond, and we commit to continue driving it forward even after our formal partnership has ended.
Comment from DFID, Geoff Calder: This programme is quite unique in the HDIF portfolio in that Ubongo has been successful in all three rounds of funding. A real credit to Ubongo for delivering a programme of the highest standards that have been justly recognised by HDIF and DFID.
